Hello everyone, I have had the pleasure of working as a Lead Character Artist on Hazelights latest game - It Takes Two. Coming from A Way Out to working on this game was a true game changer for the entire studio. During the years of production we faced a lot of challenges but I am very happy about how the game turned out in the end.
Throughout production of It Takes Two I was responsible for creating the Wasp Queen. My role mainly focused on figuring out the overall visual design and function as well as sculpting, modeling and texturing the different parts.
I would like to give special thanks to Josefine Persson who sparked my creativity with some great initial concept art, Malin Schneider who created the fabric parts of the wings, Nina Valinger for some great environment and lighting work and our outsourcing friends at Mindwalk that helped out with highres details and retopo work on some of the different parts. Couldn't have done it without you guys.
Finally a huge thanks to everyone at Hazelight! It was a collective effort and the entire team worked really hard to make this game happen. I hope everyone enjoys playing it as much as we did making it. Thanks!
