A Way Out - Leo

Throughout production of A Way Out I was tasked with creating one of the main characters, Leo. It was an honor to be a part of this project and to be entrusted with creating Leo as he is one of the most important characters in the game. In the end Leo went through many changes and alterations as our Creative Director, Josef Fares, had a very specific vision of what Leo should look and feel like. In the end we went with a look based on Josef's brother and actor, Fares Fares.

My role as a character artist mainly focused on sculpting, modeling and texturing the head, arms and hair. During the project I always kept an eye on Leo’s overall look based on the directions from our Creative Director and Art Director. Many of Leo’s different outfits were created by other talented character artists at Hazelight; including Hvile Öhrnell and Carl-Emil Andreasson. Shaders were done by Jon Micheelsen.
